I feel like such a slacker for ignoring the blog for so long. That's what a long weekend will do to you!
We had a great 4th, relaxing a home and playing LEGO Indiana Jones on the XBOX. LOVE those LEGO games. I am not terribly eye-hand coordinated, so these are games I can actually finish, plus they don't have all the blood that most of the other games my husband plays has. A big Bonus!
I did start to add some new photos I've taken recently to etsy, and I'll be adding more over the next week or so. These are from my trip last week to Southern California:Like the new watermark?
I'm also trying this out:to give shoppers an idea of what the photo might look like hanging on your wall in a frame. What do you think? Does it work? Does it make you more interested in buying the photo? Leave a comment and let me know!
Don't forget the Christmas in July sale going on at my shop. 25% off on the new low prices on everything in that section!

It's good to be home. And with no big 4th of July plans, I'm just looking forward to hanging out at home and relaxing over the long weekend.
I've lowered my prices at A Wonderful World:
4x6 - $10.00
5x7 - $12.00
8x10-$15.00
11x14 - $25.00
And, to help you get started with that all important holiday shopping, I've got a Christmas in July sale on. Everything in the Christmas in July section is 25% off my new low prices. There are some great deals there. And you can find other etsy sellers with sales by searching for "christmasinjuly" all this month.
As part of the Etsy for Animals team, during the month of July, 100% of the proceeds of my photo "Escape" will be donated to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. All the featured EFA items this month are from the theme "Oh to be by the seaside."
I'm working on making some new photos available. Here's a sneak peek:
There's some flowers, tractors, New Orleans, and beach shots. Stop by the shop soon to see what's new.
I hope you all have a good weekend, and happy Independence Day to all you folks here in the U.S.A.!

Like I mentioned in my last post, I'm off this weekend to Redondo Beach, California to attend a conference for my real job. Between travel for work, visiting family, and vacation, sometimes it feels like I'm never at home. Traveling a lot sure SOUNDS fabulous, but really it just makes me tired. Plus I hate all the time I spend away from my husband and kitty cat.
On the upside, the travel gives me the opportunity to flex my creative muscle and take pictures of new places. That is the part I always look forward to.
So, between the trip and the Fourth of July holiday, I probably won't be blogging much next week. But my free shipping offer is still good here, though shipping my take an extra couple of days. And I'm getting the shop ready to participate in Christmas in July over at etsy. Stay tuned for more details on that.
I hope everyone has a great holiday.
