Today is the first day of school here in town. Is it just me, or is summer getting shorter all the time? I think the worst for me was walking into Hobby Lobby in mid-July and seeing Christmas decorations on the shelves. Come on! We'd just finished with Independence Day. Just let me have Fall for once!

You're so right. Fall is my favorite season and they do just jump right past it, don't they? Well, that's not counting the Halloween candy that is ALREADY out on the shelves! What on earth? Love your photos. =]
I don't know what you mean...this summer seemed really, really long. Of course we still have a week until school starts. I know wha tyou mean about the holiday stuff. It seems to come out earlier every year
It is way too early for Christmas stuff! I thought it was bad to see Thanksgiving stuff at JoAnn's! And as a teacher it peeved me to see the school stuff in the stores in July. I just wasn't ready for that. Now that I don't teach it doesn't bother me!
I know what you mean, if feels like this summer was only a month long...
On the other hand my kiddos start school in September.
